Shining Star

When it comes to defining BLIA YAD, especially the committee, I am looking at a bunch of shining stars. Some are as bright as the guiding star, which hikers use to guide their road in the mountains, but in very rare occasions, as bright as the sun, which gives lives to all human being. Some need companion stars to be visible, called the constellations. The last some is for the stars covered by dust, debris, cloud, or too far away for us to be seen.

The reason why our stars don’t shine is that we are covered by:
1. Laziness; it is too early for work, can’t work during late time, day is too hot for work, eaten up so full that work is impossible, etc.
2. Arrogance; I have my own opinion though, but let’s go with yours first and see how you mess everything up.
3. Ignorance; screw you, I’m busy enough (really?) with my job, don’t expect me to ask “What can I do to help?”, you should ask “Can I ask for YOUR help?”.
4. Choosy; this job is for me, that one is not, I like this person, that one annoys me, I don’t want this, I demand that, etc.
5. Moha; I don’t know why I did those things, I don’t mean what I said just now.
6. Judgment eyes; what a stupidity she had done; he’s far under expectations.
7. Two-faced; “It is such a nice thing to work with you” (behind the scene: I don’t need you. I do better alone).
8. Underestimating minor rules.
9. Excellent at talking.
10. Prefer nonsense than discussion.

Those are all the things covering us, including myself, in my opinion. Of course there are a lot of outstanding qualities, which I believe is unnecessary to be mentioned here because as long as we keep learning, it will increase. The same goes to our defect. If these defects are regarded as minor problems and ignored, it will also increase until sometime we can’t handle it anymore.
